Message from PC Ross Freeman about the recent troubles in London

11 August, 2011
By

We are aware that there has been some concern from local residents and business owners relating to what has been happening in London over the past few nights and its very close proximity to where they live and work.

I wanted to take time to write to you to offer reassurance that there have been no reported Crimes or disorder relating to these troubles within your locality.

Whilst Hertfordshire Police are assisting The Metropolitan Police through this difficult time, this has not affected the numbers of Officers and staff serving your community.

Cuffley, Northaw, Brookmans Park and Little Heath are and remain very safe places to live and work.

Your Local Policing Team are working hard to offer the reassurance to anyone who has been affected by what is happening just over the Policing Border, and urge anyone with any questions or concerns to contact us straight away so we can address them.

If anyone has any information on those responsible for the trouble in London, I would urge you to either contact the Police or Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.
