CLOSED-CIRCUIT television stills have been released by police following a theft from a shop in Cuffley.

Two men entered the Co-op store in Station Road just before 8pm on Friday September 9.

They walked to the fresh meat aisle and hid a number of meat items in a holdall before leaving the shop without paying.

PC Ross Freeman, from the Welwyn Hatfield safer neighbourhood team, said: “We are really keen to speak to the people in the footage as they may be able to assist the investigation or for anyone who recognises them to get in touch.

“We would also ask if anyone knows anything about the incidents to please contact us.”

Anyone with information should call PC Freeman via the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
